Starting Salary Range: $80,000 to $85,000/annually. Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Involves serving as the technical administrator for hardware and operating systems. Plans and coordinates the installation, configuration, and testing of hardware and software components. Work may involve central or departmental computer systems.

Applies skills as a seasoned, experienced systems infrastructure professional with a full understanding of industry best practices and Campus policies and procedures to resolve a wide range of issues that are moderately complex in scope. Demonstrates good judgement in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions. Evaluates new technologies including performing simple to moderate cost/benefit analyses. . As a member of the team supporting campus enterprise systems and services within the Data Center Operations group, serves as a senior level server administrator providing primary and backup support for UNIX-based operating systems.

Qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training.

Ability to elicit and communicate technical and non-technical information in a clear and concise manner.

Self-motivated, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a highly-collaborative team. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and other commitments.

Basic knowledge of how to design, develop, and adapt technologies and systems to meet business needs.

Ability to learn new technical skills quickly.

Selected candidate will be required to pass a criminal history background check.
