Process Improvement Analyst
Penn State University IT has an exciting opportunity for a Process Improvement Analyst (Business Process Analyst). This position will ensure that initiatives and projects are properly supported through requirements gathering, stakeholder analysis, communication plans, risk assessments, process mapping, gap analysis, root cause analysis and project planning. This position will be responsible for the following:
The successful candidate will have extensive analytical skills, including data/metrics, trends, decision making, organizational strategy, and research. Must have the ability to interpret and communicate process improvement activities, ability to solve problems creatively and effectively handle multiple projects or initiatives, and ability to develop effective business relationships and build consensus. Must have excellent communication and customer service skills including persuading, influencing, negotiating, and resolving disputes with a wide variety of stakeholders internal and external to the University. Attention to detail is a must.
This job will be filled as a level 3 or level 4 depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor's degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt is strongly preferred.
