About the Job

The MuleSoft Developer will work on MuleSoft solutions across the organization and is an experienced software professional with a solid understanding of industry best practices, business standards, and relevant policies and procedures to support integration for departments, the enterprise, and as part of the Enterprise Applications Integrations Team This position will be involved in working on administrative systems, with a focus on integrating financial enterprise applications that support academic and administrative services.

This role designs, develops, documents, tests, implements, and debugs new and existing software integrations for Enterprise Resource Planning applications. Serves as a technical expert on development projects. Participates in full development life cycle including requirements analysis, design, and development. Writes technical specifications based on conceptual design and stated business requirements. Supports, maintains, and documents integration functionality. Identifies and evaluates new technologies for implementation. Analyzes components to find causes of errors and revise programs as needed. Analyzes user needs, system requirements, and business processes to determine technical requirements. Consults with end users to prototype, refine, test, and debug components to meet needs.

The developer will be working with MuleSoft 3.5/4.0, JSON, XML, AnyPoint Studio, Mule Soft Cloud Hub, Error Handling Frameworks, SOA Design, flows, sub-flows, connectors, flow controls, filters, REST/SOAP web services, VPC, API Design and Development using RAML/OAS, MUnits/JUnits, ESB, Micro-Services, Data Weave, Mock Services, Post Man, scaffold APIs from specifications, Comply with ISO 27001, PCI, DSS, FERPA, HIPPA. Regularly, report on project status, issues, and resolves a wide range of technical problems. Demonstrates competency in selecting tools, methods, and techniques to obtain results and technically astute with the ability to troubleshoot complex cross-functional applications with multiple integrations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

3. Prepares and approves or obtains approval for system and programming documentation. Initiates and oversees changes in development, maintenance and system standards. Sets the technical requirements for complex software specifications.

4. Understands and applies industry practices, community standards and department policies and procedures in depth. May serve as technical lead for multiple software development projects of moderate to broad scope. May lead a team of software development professionals. Enforces project plans.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems (IS) or Information Technology (IT) or related and 5 years of progressively responsible related experience or equivalent experience/training. and practices – Required.
MuleSoft Certified Developer, MuleSoft Certified Platform Architect – Preferred
Must pass a background check – Required.
8 + years of experience working with financial systems in an enterprise applications team for an information technology organization – Preferred.
4 years of working in a complex IT organization and demonstrated knowledge of Information Technology systems – Preferred.

Demonstrated experience using MuleSoft Software Stack including Flow Design, Anypont Studio, Data Weave, Cloud Hub, Orchestration, OAS/RAML, Connectors, MUnit, VPCs.
Prior Experience with Oracle Cloud, Oracle EBS, PeopleSoft, NetSuite, Workday, SAP, Salesforce.com, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Integration.
Experience using and developing with Service Oriented Architecture, Batch, Real-Time, API-Led connectivity, Pub-Sub, Data Orchestration across SAAS Apps, Cloud Apps, FTP, Databases, Web Services, and Files.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to technical and non-technical personnel at various levels in the organization.
Self-motivated and works independently and as part of a team. Able to learn effectively and meet deadlines.
Creates, monitors and follows through on MuleSoft Service Requests. Analyzes Help Desk tickets for trends and actions.
Flexibility in supporting production, upgrades, changes, and user support requests via on-call rotation.
