DIRECTOR, INSTITUTIONAL TECHNOLOGY

Under general direction, plans, researches, strategizes, and manages user support and system development of the District's multi-module Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system applications, web development, accessibility, and networks and servers, and other enterprise applications; provides technical leadership and expertise in the areas of user support and systems programming to enhance the administrative functionality of the District's ERP system applications; directs and provides ongoing supervision to institutional technology technical staff; and performs related work as required.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Any combination of training and experience which would provide the required knowledge, skills, and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the required qualifications would be:

Equivalent to bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in computer science, management information systems, or a related field AND Six (6) years of progressively responsible experience in supervising teams of systems analysts and/or managing application development projects for enterprise systems. Prior experience in a higher education setting is preferred.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Valid certification as a Project Management Professional is desirable. Valid certification in data security is desirable.

SALARY & BENEFITS:
Range 43, steps 1-5, $10,174.00-$12,367.00. An excellent benefits package which includes medical, vision, dental, retirement, vacation, generous sick leave package, and life insurance is available for the employee and eligible dependents. This position is a classified exempt position in accordance with the Fair Labor Standard Act and California Education Code Section 88020. The employee holding this position is not eligible for overtime compensation.

STARTING DATE:
As soon as the successful candidate is identified and following the subsequent governing board approval.
