Denison is currently accepting applications for a Desktop Support Manager. Leading a team of two technicians and two endpoint administrators, you will oversee all facets of configuration and client support for Denison-owned desktop technology, including approximately 1,900 Windows and macOS devices, mobile devices, VoIP phones, and client management software. Along with your fellow Client Experience colleagues, you'll ensure that Denison faculty, staff, and students receive exemplary customer support and knowledgeable technology assistance. You'll champion the professional growth of your Desktop Support teammates, develop and supervise capable student employees, and serve as the anchor of a critical technology support team.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a field related to this role or equivalent of experience, as well as two years as a desktop support specialist or equivalent.
Successful candidates must have one year of project lead roles or supervisory experience, and exhibit excellent verbal, and written communication skills. Candidates must have a knowledge of Windows 10 and/or macOS, and in-depth experience using at least one client management tool (SCCM, Kace, ZENworks, JAMF, etc.). Candidates must have experience with ticketing and asset management platforms and extensive knowledge of computer hardware (desktops, mobile devices). This position also has some physical demands, including walking the campus, stairs/hills, and lifting up to 30 lbs. Reasonable accommodations will be made to individuals with disabilities.
