LC State invites applications for the position of Systems Integration Analyst
Salary and rank based on experience and qualifications: $51,453

Degree Required:
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a related field.

    Required Qualifications:
  • Experience working with an integrated SIS, ERP, or complex enterprise system.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and project requirements.
  • Experience training individuals and small groups to use computer applications.
  • Ability to clearly and accurately communicate, both written and verbal.

    Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree from a regionally accredited college or university in a related field.
  • Experience in higher education.
  • Thorough understanding of the business analysis process, how to document business requirements, and how to realign business processes to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Experience using Ellucian Colleague enterprise resource planning system (ERP).
  • Experience working with a diverse project team.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the college community's diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, ethnic, and disability backgrounds.

    Responsibilities:
    1. Works with application users to evaluate business processes and practices, identify requirements, uncover areas of improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
    2. Perform requirements analysis working as a liaison between ITS and the subject matter experts. Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies. Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings. Serve as project manager when necessary to move solutions forward.
    3. At the direction of the Business Process Architect, designs, tests, installs, and maintains configurations necessary to meet the application software needs of the academic and administrative departments of the college.
    4. Participates in requirements documentation for software solutions that the organization may opt to use. Analyzes and verifies requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards. Participates in the quality assurance of purchased solutions to ensure features and functions have been enabled and optimized.
    5. Analyzes and resolves computer application problems as quickly and accurately as possible to minimize any outage and adverse impact on college operations. Provide technical support for application users to help make their computing environment as integrated, seamless, and operationally efficient as possible with the end goal of helping the users develop self-sufficiency.
    6. Thoroughly document program logic, procedures, and business recovery plans so that the documentation is readily understood by others working on the system.
    7. As directed, train end-users in the appropriate use of the assigned applications.
