Who Are We? How we are different?

Central Oregon Community College is dedicated to promoting student success and community enrichment by providing quality, accessible, lifelong educational opportunities. We believe in a strong work-life balance, teamwork and a challenging work environment. In support of these beliefs, COCC offers a hybrid work environment, two weeks of vacation and an additional 15 paid holidays each year, so that you can soak up the campus culture and perform hands-on work with your peers, but still maintain a healthy work-life balance and have the flexibility to work from home several days each week.

COCC offers a competitive benefits package designed to support both our employees and their families. Some highlights of this package are Medical, Dental & Vison coverage, matching retirement contributions to PERS, generous paid vacation, sick and holiday time off, and tuition waivers for you and your family that covers the cost of both our credit and non-credit classes, just to name a few.

Our IT department is dedicated to providing quality instructional technology and information resources to COCC students, faculty and staff. We pride ourselves on being a trusted technology resource, experts in our respective fields and heroes whenever the opportunity presents itself.

After one year, you'll know you are successful in the position if:

1. You are chosen as a project lead on any one of numerous annual project opportunities.

2. Team managers and Directors request your participation in strategic planning discussions.

3. Other team members rely on you and your documentation as a resource for key processes.
