Job Summary:
Under the limited supervision of the Assistant Director of EBS (Enterprise Business Systems) ERP Application Support, function as ERP Application Support Service Lead. This position is responsible for managing multiple and varied enterprise focused IT services across numerous business units, stakeholders, customers, and vendors. This position assists the service teams in developing secure architectures and design for administrative ERP systems, batch scheduling and automation systems, code migration and change control systems, legacy budget systems, various reporting, data warehouse, and Business Intelligence systems, and corresponding integrated systems.

This position consults with senior management, functional staff, and technical staff to assist in planning for and defining the scope of future management information processing services. The ERP Application Support Services Lead is responsible for coordinating the services performed by various sub-teams of technologists and communicating with customers and stakeholders. Solutions include cross platform integration using vendor packages, web services, custom applications, and database design.

This position has multiple customer relationships and also has specific responsibilities related to Human Resource System (HRS), an enterprise HR/Benefits administrative system. This position works closely with UW-Shared Services (UWSS), UW-System Administration (UWSA) and UW-Madison stakeholders. The position interfaces with internal and external customers/vendors to determine the most efficient and cost- effective approach to meet their business requirements.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications
-5+ years of experience supporting ERP systems
-Excellent documentation and communication skills
-Exceptional customer service attitude shown by establishing and maintaining effective professional relationships with staff, customers, and vendors
-Ability to work independently as well as within groups, multi-task on more than one project/task, work with leadership to prioritize projects and issues.
-Ability to design and implement team change, workflows, and other team initiatives

Preferred Qualifications
-Higher Education experience
-Knowledge of UW-Madison, UW-System, Shared Services or UW ERPs
-Experience with scheduling and coordinating complex technical maintenance calendars
-Experience with ERP Administrative systems and complex business transaction processing
-Experience with reporting and data analysis by using systems like Excel, Query, SQL
-Experience with technical change control systems like Phire
-Experience with batch automation systems like IWS
-Experience in high-volume, fast-paced work environments

The candidate selected for this position will initially be expected to work fully remote work subject to an approved remote work agreement (RWA) agreement, which is reviewed and approved annually.
